Sedated or disoriented patients usually lose track of balance and sometimes fall. In order to avoid these situations, nursing staff usually contain patients by using sheets, bandages or other types of material that can be used for this purpose. The 2mill abdominal immobilizer band has been designed to limit the patient's movements to those allowed so that it can be treated according to each individual case.
 
The belt is manufactured using an ultrasonic process and as such has seams which prevents skin irritation by friction. It is extremely smooth and can be placed directly on the skin. The fastening belts are very resistant and long enough for any type of containment system to be used. In this way, different levels of mobility are allowed.
